WPDC’s Dental Champion
The dental component of CMDA’s Women Physicians and Dentists in Christ (WPDC) has grown by leaps and bounds over the past few years. Much of this growth is due to the efforts of Dr. Elisa Ghezzi, who has served CMDA in various capacities for a quarter of a century. She is passionate about connecting females in dentistry for mutual encouragement and fellowship.
About Our Guest
Dr. Elisa Ghezzi has practiced geriatric dentistry for 25 years in Southeastern Michigan. She has written and lectured extensively on the topic of oral healthcare for older adults and persons with dementia. Dr. Ghezzi has also been heavily involved with various aspects of CMDA. She served on the CMDA Board of Trustees from 1997-98, and she currently serves as Midwest Region Staff At-Large and also on the Commission of Women Physicians and Dentists in Christ, known as WPDC. She has a great love and respect for CMDA that she wants to share with us today.
